南寧是以壯族為主體的多民族聚居的首府城市。壯族人民自古喜愛唱歌，以歌代言，以歌會友，以歌傳情，用美妙的歌聲歌唱勞動，歌唱愛情，歌唱生活。唱山歌，愛山歌，形成了壯民族獨特而又多姿多彩的原生態(tài)文化景象。
南寧壯族民間歌曲種類繁多、韻律獨特、風(fēng)格鮮明突出。從結(jié)構(gòu)形式分有嘹羅山歌、排歌、勒腳歌、四六聯(lián)山歌、五言壯歡等。從歌唱方法分有單聲部、二聲部、三聲部等。這些民歌，無論在音樂藝術(shù)形象的塑造和表情達(dá)意的方式上，還是在音樂體裁形式及各種表現(xiàn)手段上都呈現(xiàn)了濃厚的壯民族特色。
壯族原生態(tài)民歌是“口頭與非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)”的重要組成部分，具有豐厚飽滿的文化內(nèi)涵。同時，其“口耳相傳”的傳承方式，又造成了其在保護(hù)和發(fā)展中的困難與局限，因此，對它進(jìn)行搶救性的挖掘和保護(hù)迫在眉睫！
南寧市秉持著挖掘保護(hù)南寧原生態(tài)民歌文化的宗旨，精心策劃，精選了馬山三聲部民歌、邕寧嘹羅山歌、上林四六聯(lián)山歌等獨具特色和代表性的傳統(tǒng)民歌歌種、歌曲，錄制了

【 Foreword】
Nanning is a capital city of compact nationalities with Zhuang predominating. From ancient times, Zhuang people like singing to do communications, make friends and express love, also praise work, love and life. Singing and valuing the folk songs have become the special and colorful original primitive culture of Zhuang people.
The Zhuang folk songs are featured in multiple types, unique rhythm and distinctive styles. In view of the structure forms, there are Liaoluo Song, Line Song, Rondeau Song, Sixth-four Linking Song, Five-word Song, etc. In view of the singing manners, there are single-part song, two-part song, three-part song, etc. No matter in the creation of art figures, expression manners, or styles and expression methods, these songs have shown deep flavor of Zhuang nationality.
The original primitive song is key part of “oral and non-material cultural relics” with rich cultural connotations; meanwhile the heritage manner of “hear and sing” causes the difficulty and limit of protection and development, therefore the salvage exploitation and protection have become extremely urgent!
Inheriting the aim of exploring and protecting the Nanning original primitive folk song culture, Nanning has elaborately planned and selected Mashan three-part songs, Yongning Liaoluo songs, Shanglin Sixth-four Linking songs and other special and representative traditional folk song types and songs, and recorded the album of “Nanning Zhuang Folk Song Collective—Sound of Nature from Zhuang People” which have displayed the unique charm of Nanning Zhuang original folk songs in audiovisual forms.
